I have to have confirmation before I stand in a queue, how large a dog is able to use the dog trolley, I myself have a medium/ large sized Labradoodle. Do they have to be reused by the dogs coming down as I have a few grandchildren of my own that would show an interest in them I am sure.
I looking forward to seeing dog trolley's being trundled up and hope the children don't confiscate them to slide down too quickly on them and cause themselves too many injuries on the way down.

This should be seen as an opportunity to bring in a whole new set of playing customers or pilgrims, the seafaring folk.
They never before could visit this sacred shrine because their legs were too wobbly to
walk on good solid earth, let alone climb a mountain as fearsome as the Glastonbury
Tor!

What with global warming and the super suns visiting on a regular basis you
must be worried sick about losing that permanent icecap that is such prominent
feature of at the English country side. To say nothing of the impending loss of your
major source of water which will shut down civilization in southwest England or worse deprive you of the basics for making ice cubes!
My heart goes out to you in this time of "Tor able trouble"

We, as residents have not been consulted. If we had then we would all clearly state that we do not want nor indeed need another Supermarket! We have already got; Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Coop and Earthfare. All of these are within cycling distance and all enough to feed the entire villages of Street and Glastonbury! The council are clearly just selling us out for the promised £70,000 they will receive to let them build the largest store in the country! What do you, as council members,, think you are doing???:??

Hi Alan - I'm not sure who to refer a question like this to. Normally I'd ask the Glastonbury Archaeology Society but they're only really interested in stuff that's deeper underground.

We visited Glastonbury Tor today and noticed that some of the grass about half way up was quite spongy. Unfortunately our tests to figure out what was under the grass were cut short when a couple of path wardens noticed we had strayed off the gravel area between the path and the grass. I'm wondering what might cause that sponginess?

I say equal rights for rabbits! I took flumps for her daily walk up the tor today and just as I was about to tow her up, a spaniel owner insisted on using our trolley. We had to wait twenty minutes!

We waited 90 minutes in the queue today for a trolley to become available for our walk, and Kipper my Highland Terrier was very patient. I was rather angry though when I found that the terrier-sized trolley had been taken out by somebody with a pet rabbit.

Now, I have nothing against rabbits as pets, but really, this is the first time I've ever seen one taken for a walk on the tor, and I don't see why they should take precedence over dogs.

This is absolutely stupid, pen pushers have no spiritual understanding of this place... what a bunch of sad, selfish people!
I have discussed with many friends and they all agree.

Who are these people, nobodies in our book!

Long live Glastonbury's name, when they are dead and gone, it will still be GLASTONBURY.... You can change the names on signs but not in peoples hearts...
